Producer summary: Since 1781 Sanchez Romate is family owned and is established in the same wineries in the town of Jerez de la Frontera. With vineyards in the district of Balbaina on deep calcareous soil and extensive soleras of fino, amontillado, oloroso and pedro ximénez, Sánchez Romate is one of the few independent producers in Jerez with control over the entire process from vineyard to bottle.

Brief tasting notes: Deep gold color, intense floral character, yeast aromas of bread dough with a rich, broad and deep palate, clean, fresh and long.

Long Tasting Notes: Called Lost Fino, this is a rich but dry and mature style of Jerez Fino, about 8 years old, bordering a Fino-Amontillado that is rarely seen today. Deep gold color, intense floral character, combination of apple aromas and yeast aromas of bread dough, with a rich, broad and deep palate that ends clean and fresh. Its rich taste would resist many foods well. This includes many seafood such as prawns, crab or bluefin tuna stewed with onions. It will also accompany most cheeses well. This wine has been minimally treated to obtain the maximum flavor in the bottle.
